Blog inspiration

Like most of you I do spend a bit (hmm – cough – how long?) of time each day reading lots of other blogs.

There is always plenty to discover, lots to learn and lots to amuse.   Now and again I like to highlight one or two blogs that have offered something extra special.

A New Life in Wales provided some sewing inspiration the other day:

Look at the storage bags Pam has made – third photo down – aren’t they lovely!   I cheekily asked Pam in a comment if she might do a tutorial on them and she has said she will so I look forward to that.

On an entirely different note, I am also a big fan of John over at Going Gently.   He did a post a couple of days ago connected to the media attention surrounding the publication of the lost Harper Lee first novel Go Set a Watchman.

John’s story in his post was interesting enough and then – bam! – the stories that came up in the comments were fascinating, thought provoking and moving.

And finally, Sue over at Our Quiet Life in Suffolk – her latest post included mention of the C word – she is well on with her preparations!   I am not sure if this means it qualifies as an inspiring post or a post that makes me feel like a slacker as I have not even considered the C word yet!   So, although for different reasons, it was a post that got me thinking!

I would love to know what some of your favourite posts have been this week.

Until tomorrow…
