Dunster Castle

We had a great day today at Dunster Castle.

Dunster Castle is a National Trust property, read more about it here:

We did the Pumpkin Trail – which you could do without going in to the castle but as we bought National Trust membership (just over £8.00 a month for a family membership) we were able to go all over the castle after we did the pumpkin trail.   NT membership also gives you free parking at all NT properties so is excellent value for money.

The weather wasn’t great today – quite a lot of rain but this did not dampen our spirits.  The grounds were lovely and the building and its history really quite fascinating.

This was our first NT day out and I am looking forward to many more.

Until tomorrow…
