Do you ever get the feeling that you are out of sync with the world?
I have been feeling that a bit lately. Seeing things, hearing things, reading things that make me uncomfortable.
I get that, with all the horrible events of recent weeks and with an election day just hours away, feelings can run high.
There is though still plenty of loveliness in blogland. So I will do some catching up and read some of my favourite blogs now.

There is some less than nice stuff floating around in blogland, it always seems to go in waves.
To be honest, I am not looking forward to the election, whatever the outcome. I just don’t believe any of them care about the man in the street. When the attack happened at Westminster, they responded by putting extra police outside Buckingham Palace and Downing Street! Erm. Hello? Ordinary people are more at risk, try giving us some protection.
I’ll vote. But then I’m going to come home and ignore everything about it. Either way we lose.

Yes, I think it will be a news avoidance day for me on Friday – no matter what the outcome, because there will be winners and losers so there will be anger and bile and point scoring. We should all go and live in Mrs P’s lighthouse!
