I hope you all had a lovely weekend, the weather was glorious here, a real feel of spring.

Nostalgia purchase

On Saturday we popped to Wellington (best medium sized town in the south west sayeth the town sign).

No slacking today – jam and furniture revamps

Today has been quite a productive day all in all.

A new project

We made a quick trip to the local recycling/waste centre today.   We had a few things to dispose of – a couple sacks of garden waste mainly.

Furniture revamp and a menu plan

We have had a busy day giving the garage a final sort and arranging my workshop and making a start on the furniture upcycling/revamping that we have had planned.

Easter/Bank Holiday Monday

What glorious weather today – we went for a lovely cycle ride and, because the weather was so good we took a picnic.  Small person managed really well on what was, undoubtedly, the longest cycle ride she has every done.  I felt like I had cycled a fair way so goodness knows how tired her legs must have been.   How lovely to have such great weather for a bank holiday, I hope you all enjoyed yours, whatever you were doing.

Giving old furniture a new lease of life

I guess what I am talking about here is the idea of ‘upcycling’ (although for no justifiable reason I find that word irritating).
