Progress

We have an ordered and tidy living room – not a box to be seen in it.   All of small person’s toys are unpacked and in the toy corner, lamps are in place, cushions unpacked and generally the room is looking like home.

A day out in Lyme Regis

We had a day away from the unpacking today and set off for Lyme Regis quite early this morning.

A moving story!

Or, the story of our move.

We are in!

We did it – we are in.  Lots of adventures (good and bad) along the way.   Chaos is still the dominant force at the moment but I will post a fuller narrative tonight.   The main positives are that we have had two good nights sleep in our new home, the cats have settled really well (although the journey was traumatic for them) and the washing machine arrives tomorrow (along with the fridge) – whoop whoop!

Mending, making, crafting – no, mostly cleaning

Today I moved the white goods out to clean behind them.   Then, because I hadn’t had quite enough fun I cleaned the oven.

Same old, same old……!

Stawberries and Cream

Unfortunately not actual strawberries and cream, eaten at Wimbledon, watching the tennis but Aldi Strawberries and cream ice cream eaten on the sofa watching Wimbledon on the tv!

Estate Agents – Might I make some suggestions?

Apologies to any nice estate agents that might be reading, this is only for those who are greasy, cut-throat, bile inducing, power-crazy egomaniacs.

Crochet and clutter

Quite a busy day today.    I had to pop in to town for a few things and managed to have a quick cup of tea with a friend, and a good chat.  On the way home I called by the local garage to book the car in for a small job that needs to be done.
